Situated at 495 Hume Hwy, Yagoona NSW 2199, this hidden gem is a must-visit for anyone in the area. The first thing you'll notice when you step in is the warm and inviting atmosphere that feels like an extension of home. Whether youโ€™re coming in for a casual bite or planning a family dinner, Lahori Dhaba welcomes you with open arms and a menu full of flavorful dishes that transport you straight to the streets of Lahore.

The menu at Lahori Dhaba is a reflection of the rich culinary traditions of Lahore, Pakistan. From tender, slow-cooked meat dishes to fresh, crispy breads, every item is prepared with care and authentic spices. The aroma that fills the air as soon as you walk through the door is enough to make your mouth water in anticipation. But itโ€™s not just the aroma that sets Lahori Dhaba apart-itโ€™s the passion for quality ingredients and the skillful way in which each dish is prepared.

One of the standout dishes at Lahori Dhaba is the Lahori Karahi. This iconic dish, simmered in a thick gravy with tender pieces of chicken or lamb, is the definition of comfort food. Itโ€™s packed with a complex blend of spices that are balanced perfectly-neither too overpowering nor too subtle. If you're a fan of hearty, flavorful curries, this dish will quickly become your go-to. The addition of fresh cilantro and a squeeze of lemon brings everything together, giving it a bright, refreshing kick.

Another dish that should not be missed is their Seekh Kebabs. Made with minced meat, herbs, and spices, the kebabs are grilled to perfection, giving them a smoky flavor that pairs beautifully with the accompanying chutney. The texture is spot-on, not too dry and not too greasy-just right. Whether you have them as an appetizer or as part of a larger meal, theyโ€™re bound to impress.

For those who enjoy a bit of heat, the Spicy Chicken Biryani is a must-try. The rice is fluffy and fragrant, and the chicken is perfectly spiced, creating a delightful balance of flavors. Each bite packs a punch, with layers of complex flavors that will leave you craving more. The dish is served with a cool raita on the side, which helps to mellow out the spice and gives the whole meal a refreshing balance.

While the main dishes are the stars of the show, the naan bread deserves a mention as well. Freshly baked in the tandoor, itโ€™s light, soft, and slightly charred, making it the perfect accompaniment to any curry. The garlic naan, in particular, is a favorite-itโ€™s fragrant, buttery, and adds a wonderful depth of flavor to every bite.

The drinks menu offers a range of traditional beverages to complement your meal. A glass of lassi-a sweet yogurt drink-pairs wonderfully with the spicier dishes, cooling down your palate while providing a refreshing break between bites. If you're looking for something a bit more adventurous, their sugarcane juice is a sweet, thirst-quenching option thatโ€™s a little different from the usual soda choices.

Lahori Dhaba doesnโ€™t just serve up delicious food; itโ€™s also known for its impeccable service. The staff is friendly and attentive, always ready to make recommendations or answer any questions you might have about the menu. Whether you're a regular or a first-timer, you'll feel like part of the Lahori Dhaba family by the time you leave.

The Halwa Puri and Lahori fish were ordered, and the overall experience was highly satisfactory. While the offering was enjoyable, the absence of Aloo ki Tarkari alongside the puri was a notable gap. To me, itโ€™s traditionally component of Halwa Puri. That said, the Lahori fish (& itโ€™s sauce) was exceptionally well prepared and stood out in terms of taste and quality. The ambiance and overall vibe of the venue were excellent, creating a welcoming and well-balanced dining environment that enhanced the experience end to end.

Tried breakfast at Lahori Dera today and honestly loved everything about it. The food was fresh, flavorful, and felt just like a proper desi morning treat. The puris were crispy, chai was spot on, and the overall vibe was really nice. Definitely a place Iโ€™d go back to for another weekend breakfast.

We hosted a dinner for my Nephewโ€™s post wedding on the 30th December at Lahori Dhera, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. The restaurant provided the perfect setting for such a special family occasion โ€” warm, welcoming, and beautifully suited for celebrations. All there dishes were absolutely superb.

My favourite restaurant in the area without a doubt. Place itself offers a very unassuming entrance that leads to roomy seating area. Ive tried various of their dishes, each made with a different set of spices hence a separate taste in everything. Very rich in flavour with decent serving size. Everything looked freshly made (or maybe they know how to make it possible). Would recommend.

As always. No one can beat the fish taste of LD. Also their Mutton/Lamb karahi was love.

We recently visited Lahori Dhaba and was blown away by the unique desi-style Chinese dishes. From the Chicken Fried Rice to the American Chop Suey, each dish was full of bold flavors and cooked to perfection. The Beef Mongolian Sauce was rich and savory, while the Fish Szechuan Style had just the right amount of spice. Located at 495 Hume Hwy, Yagoona, and open daily from 4pm to 11pm, Lahori Dhaba offers a fantastic fusion of desi and Chinese flavors in a cozy atmosphere. The service was friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious. If youโ€™re in the area, itโ€™s definitely worth a visit! Highly recommend!

Food was really good. Service was satisfying. I would like to say regarding amosphere is that from the point of retuarant setup was very nice but other guests need to be more considarate about other guests. Guest usually go to the restuarant to enjoy and spend some time with there family and friends. But some guest thing they own the place and do whatever they like to do.amd made lots of unnecessary noise to show off. Recomendation for the people who liove to make extra noise choose the parks. Other guests at that time in the restuarant was very polite.
